Beth Cobbs Investigates Financial Fraud for Bank of Hawaii
HONOLULU, HI, August 28, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Beth Cobbs, Fraud Investigator for Bank of Hawaii, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in bank security.
With seven years of experience in the investigative field, Ms. Cobbs is known as an expert in financial fraud investigation. She assumed her current position at Bank of Hawaii in 2007. Her responsibilities include fraud training for both internal and external customers, interviewing tellers in the course of investigations, investigating workplace violence issues, sexual harassment claims, bank robberies, counterfeit and stolen checks, filing federal reports and attending court when necessary. Ms. Cobbs enjoys working in such a stimulating field as investigations, and attributes her success to her perfectionism and love for her profession.
Ms. Cobbs became a Certified Fraud Examiner in 2006. She received her Bachelor of Science in 1996 from the University of Hawaii. She is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. In five years, she aspires to obtain her Master of Science in Economic Crime Management and become a Certified Financial Service Security Professional.
